Our approach is holistic—usually including a skillful blend of medical-based techniques with more artful, intuitive disciplines.
AMS therapists are personable, professional and adhere to the highest ethical standards. Each therapist is skilled in multiple disciplines and are trained to be observant of the client needs.
More About Libby Winterhalter, LMT
Libby Winterhalter, founder of Advanced Massage Services, is a licensed massage therapist and has been in private practice since 2004. Graduating from SHI Integrative Medical Massage School, Libby is licensed with the State Medical Board of Ohio.
Prior, Libby received a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Communications with a minor in Religious Studies from the College of Mount St. Joseph. A U. S. veteran, she also served in the United States Navy for more than 22 years.
For the past two decades, Libby has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clientele, many with significant medical concerns. She has worked extensively with clients dealing with chronic pain, terminal illness, compromised joints, significant spinal fusion(s), temporomandibular disorder, scar tissue, chronic migraines, whiplash, digestive issues, plantar fasciitis, post-traumatic stress disorder, failure-to-thrive syndrome, pregnancy, cancers, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and severe injuries resulting from other accidents and more.
Blending both medical-based treatments with holistic therapies, Libby’s offers a more effective and comprehensive experience for each client by specifically tailoring the session to include serveral of the following techniques: therapeutic massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, Active Isolated Stretching, trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy and more.

Experience the luxurious support of a state-of the-art, adjustable massage table with four inches of UltraPlush padding. Multiple settings cradle you in comfort as they allow
the maximum leverage necessary to work best with you. The massage table can also be lowered to 14” from the floor—making on and off transferring much easier.
